Food Bank
We have a foodbank at the back of Church.
Under the table on your right as you enter the Church. Your donations
are taken to the Preston Salvation Army Church and Community Centre
who run a Community Food Bank.
The food collected is distributed to individuals and families who are
referred to them. In this way the food is targeted to those in need.
Referrals come from organisations such as: Children Social Care, Social
Services, Welfare Benefits and Mental Health Services.
Donations should be in tins or properly sealed packaging or containers
(and in date).
At present the Community Food Bank are particularly asking for:
Coffee
Tinned Potatoes
Jars of Pasta Sauce
Sugar
Long Life Milk
Men9s and Women9s Deodorant
Toilet Rolls
Hand Soap
Conditioner
We thank you for all those who contribute to the Food Bank.
