our school and clinic budgets, but we9re doing everything we can to
stretch every penny.
On a brighter note, and in the spirit
of the World Cup, we9re proud to
continue our support for our
football and netball teams, who
compete at various levels in
national and local leagues. FOMO
FC, FOMO WFC, and our under
10, 12, 16, and 19 teams all play
weekly. We dream of one day
having our own ground to develop
the game even further. In the past, players from Mulanje have reached
Malawi9s top football league and even represented the national under 16
team, so we9re full of hope for the future!

Our general and HIV/AIDS clinic continues to run weekly.
We currently have 450 children attending our secondary school, plus
two students at university and two at Blantyre Polytechnic.
We9re eager to invest more resources into our school, clinic, and play
schools - but bulk food (beans, rice, and maize) remains a constant
challenge, and we9re always on the lookout for new suppliers.
Looking ahead to 2027, we9re delighted to welcome back the West
Lancs Scouts. We9re also hoping to build a new centre at FOMO Nessa, as their previous
one was destroyed by a series
of storms, starting with Cyclone
Freddy. For now, they9re
meeting outdoors, which isn9t
ideal, so this new centre will be
a huge step forward.
On the logistics front, our 40ft container left the UK in March and hasn9t
