Community Hall Update
The hall transformation has come a long way since we began the
journey to secure funding for its refurbishment and to bring it up to
today9s standards. To date, £160,000 has been received in grants, with
an additional £8,000 contributed from church reserves. Further grant applications have also been submitted.

Although there is still some way to go before the project is completed in
its entirety, I9m sure you will all agree that it is starting to look good. The
main hall repairs, decorating, and flooring are now complete. Servery
shutters, which have been on order for some time, are due to be
installed soon.
We expect the remaining work in this part of the building; including
window blinds, chair store shutters, and a sound system to be finished in
the coming months. Phase 3 will see the installation of a new kitchen.
If additional funds can be secured, the car park will also be resurfaced at
some point in the future.
